Lake Country Custom Construction is a local Lake Norman area company that helps its customers build unique homes with special traits they’ve always wanted. We leverage the experience and contacts gained from many home remodels and project builds from investment real estate over the past several years in the Lake Norman area. In addition, the General Contractor owns and operates Ace Handyman Services in the Lake Norman region. Over the past few the requests to build houses and larger remodels has prompted the creation of Lake Country Custom Construction, (LCCC). Owner and General Contractor Dave Wigfield
had a fruitful career in technology sales through which he and his family lived and travelled around the world. He ultimately moved to the Lake Norman area in 2014. Once here, Dave become a North Carolina Real Estate Broker and managed long and short-term rentals including major renovations of some of the properties. To follow his passion, Dave transitioned from Technology sales and bought the Ace Handyman Services franchise to service the Lake Norman region through home repair and renovations. The handyman business quickly took off and repeat customers wanted Dave and his team to do larger projects and even build homes. In 2020 Dave acquired his General Contractor license and in 2023 started Lake Country Custom Construction to serve clients for full home construction and larger remodels.
Dave, his wife Joan, and their 2 children have lived in Switzerland, Belgium, and the UK throughout their three decades together. In the course of establishing new homes in those places, they have enjoyed cuisine, design and the creativity that has been reflected in many projects they have undertaken.
